How God's Love For Us Can Be Made Stronger

Tonight I want to talk about How God's Love For Us Can Be Made Stronger. The scriptures we are going to look at tonight are Romans 5 verse 8, John 3 verse 16, 1 John 3 verse 1, 1 John 4 verse 19. The other scriptures we will take a look at are Jeremiah 31 verse 3, 1 John 4 verse 7, 1 John 4 verse 8, John 15 verse 13, 1 John 4 verse 10, 1 Corinthians 16 verse 14, Psalm 36 verse 7, Psalm 63 verse 3, Proverbs 8 verse 17, and the last two scriptures we will take a look at tonight are Ephesians 5 verse 2 and Romans 13 verse 8.

We see in the scriptures that God's love for us can be made stronger by how we receive His Love. We see how we can show love to family, friends, those who don't know Christ and to those who are in our community. We don't have to be afraid in showing the Love that we receive from God. God is Love.

We learned that in the scripture we read tonight. We see how God can give us strength to do all things.

No matter what we face in life God is our Refuge and He is our Strength. He reminds us how we can be stronger in love, humility, grace, compassion. All the things we need to love one another just as Christ has loved us. We know that God is merciful, and just. We serve and are called to do what He has for us.

It doesn't matter what we do, as long as we do it for Christ because God wants us to show love.

I love how God can give us what we need, when we need it, and He knows that we can conquer all in His Love, in His Timing, and we are always going to be His Children who He loves because He loved us from the time He brought us into this world, and we have that strong bond between Christ and nothing can or will ever separate us from His Love that He gives because our ways are not perfect, but His Ways are.

I would like to share some songs with all of you. The first song I would like to share says this: Oh, I've heard a thousand stories of what they think You're like, But I've heard the tender whisper of love in the dead of night, And You tell me that You're pleased and that I'm never alone, You're a good, good Father, It's who You are, it's who You are, it's who You are, And I'm loved by You, It's who I am, it's who I am, it's who I am

Oh, and I've seen many searching for answers far and wide, But I know we're all searching for answers only You provide, Cause You know just what we need before we say a word, You're a good, good Father
It's who You are, it's who You are, it's who You are, And I'm loved by You, It's who I am, it's who I am, it's who I am, Because You are perfect in all of Your ways, You are perfect in all of Your ways, You are perfect in all of Your ways to us, You are perfect in all of Your ways, Oh, You're perfect in all of Your ways, You are perfect in all of Your ways to us, Oh, it's love so undeniable, I, I can hardly speak, Peace so unexplainable
I, I can hardly think, As You call me deeper still, As You call me deeper still, As You call me deeper still into love, love, love, You're a good, good Father, It's who You are, it's who You are, it's who You are, And I'm loved by You, It's who I am, it's who I am, it's who I am
The second song says this: He is jealous for me, Love's like a hurricane, I am a tree, Bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy, When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory
And I realize just how beautiful You are, And how great Your affections are for me, And oh, how He loves us, oh, Oh, how He loves us, How He loves us all, And He is jealous for me, Love's like a hurricane, I am a tree, Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy, When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory, And I realize just how beautiful You are, And how great Your affections are for me, And, oh, how He loves us, oh, Oh, how He loves us, How He loves us all, Yeah, He loves us, Oh, how He loves us, Oh, how He loves us, Oh, how He loves, And we are His portion and He is our prize, Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes, If His grace is an ocean, we're all sinking, And heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss, And my heart turns violently inside of my chest, I don't have time to maintain these regrets, When I think about, the way..., That He loves us, Oh, how He loves us, Oh, how He loves us, Oh, how He loves
The third song I would like to share says this: I love you, Lord. And I lift my voice, To worship You, Oh, my soul, rejoice!. Take joy my King, In what You hear, Let it be a sweet, sweet sound, In Your ear, I love you, Lord, (I love you, Lord), And I lift my voice
(And I lift my voice), To worship You, (To worship You), Oh, my soul, rejoice!, (Oh, my soul

As we look at the songs we see how our love can be made stronger in God.
We see that no matter what we face we can depend on God's love. The love that is unconditional and no matter how much love we give, we continue to receive God's love, because God has great love for us and there is no greater love than God's love that is perfect.

I want to share another scripture with all of you now. The scripture I would like to share comes from Proverbs 17 verse 17 which says: A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

So as we look back at all of this, we know that God's love for us can be made stronger because God shows us the heart of His Compassion and Grace. We are made in His Image, we are called His Beloved.

I would like to share a quote with all of you now. The quote I would like to share says: God's love is like an ocean; You can see it's beginning but not it's end.

Here are the last three things I would like to share with all of you. The first thing I would like to share is a quote that says: God gave us the ability to do, not just try.

The second thing I would like to share is another quote that says: Mistakes make me human. Failure makes me stronger. Love keeps me alive. But it's you who keeps me smiling.

The last thing I would like to share is a song where the lyrics say this: You've owned your fear and all your self-loathing, You've owned the voices inside of your head, You've owned the shame and reproach of your failure, It's time to own your belovedness, You've owned your past and how it's defined you, You've owned everything everybody else says, It's time to hear what your father has spoken, It's time to own your belovedness, He says, "You're mine, I smiled when I made you, I find you beautiful in every way, My love for you is fierce and unending, I'll come to find you, whatever it takes, My beloved", You've owned the mess you see in the mirror, You've owned the lies that you're just not enough, You've been so blinded by all you're comparing, It's time to own your belovedness, He says, "You're mine, I smiled when I made you, I find you beautiful in every way, My love for you is fierce and unending, I'll come to find you, whatever it takes, My beloved", You are completely loved and fully known, Beloved, believe he died to make your heart his home
And he says, "You're mine, I smiled when I made you, I find you beautiful in every way, My love for you is fierce and unending, I'll come to find you, whatever it takes", He says, "You're mine, I smiled when I made you, I find you beautiful in every way, My love for you is fierce and unending, I'll come to find you, whatever it takes, My beloved" It's time to own your belovedness.

What The Bible Says About Trusting God

Tonight we are going to take a look at What The Bible Says About Trusting God. The scriptures we are going to look at tonight are Isaiah 26:4, Romans 8:28, Joshua 1:9, Psalm 28:7, Romans 15:13, Jeremiah 17:7-8, Hebrews 13:8, Isaiah 26:3, Mark 5:36, Philippians 4:6-7, and Hebrews 11:6.

Tonight we are talking about What The Bible says about Trusting God, and as we look at the scriptures we read tonight, we see how God doesn't leave us and how God is in control of every situation as long as we put our Faith, our Hope, and our Trust In Him. Before I continue further, I want to share the scripture Proverbs 3 verses 5-6 that says: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;  in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Tonight we are talking about Trusting God and what the Bible says about it. With the verse I shared, it in a lot of ways is a reminder for us that if we trust the plans that God has for us, if we don't lean on our own understanding, and give our needs to Him in prayer, acknowledge him, He will make our paths straight.

I would like to share a song with all of you. The song says this: I need you to soften my heart And break me apart, I need you to open my eyes To see that You're shaping my life, All I am, I surrender, Give me faith to trust what you say, That you're good and your love is great, I'm broken inside, I give you my life, I need you to soften my heart And break me apart, I need you to pierce through the dark, And cleanse every part of me, All I am, I surrender, Give me faith to trust what you say, That you're good and your love is great, I'm broken inside, I give you my life, 'Cause I may be weak, But Your spirit strong in me My flesh may fail, My God you never will, I may be weak

But Your spirit strong in me, My flesh may fail, My God you never will, Give me faith to trust what you say, That you're good and your love is great, I'm broken inside, I give you my life.

We sometimes need to surrender and let God give us what we need and trust what He says to us and go where He leads. When we go where He leads, whether it be involved in different ministries or helping in our church, we know that we are obeying what He wants for us.

Which brings me to the next song called Trust And Obey.

The lyrics of this song says: When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word, What a glory He sheds on our way!

While we do His good will, He abides with us still, And with all who will trust and obey, Trust and obey, for there's no other way, To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey

Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies, But His smile quickly drives it away, Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear, Can abide while we trust and obey, Oh, Trust and obey, for there's no other way, To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey, Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet, Or we'll walk by His side in the way

What He says we will do, where He sends we will go, Never fear, only trust and obey, Trust and obey, for there's no other way, To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

I want to share some quotes with all of you. The first quote I would like to share says: The more you believe and trust God, the more limitless your possibilities become for your family, your career- for your life!

God isn't asking you to figure it out. He's asking you to trust that He already has.

God has perfect timing Trust Him.

When we look at these quotes we see how God is still working in our life to show us things He has planned.

Here are the last two things I would like to end on.

The first thing I would like to share are lyrics of a song that say: You call me out upon the waters, The great unknown where feet may fail, And there I find You in the mystery

In oceans deep my faith will stand, And I will call upon Your Name, And keep my eyes above the waves

When oceans rise, My soul will rest in Your embrace

For I am Yours and You are mine, Your grace abounds in deepest waters, Your sovereign hand will be my guide

Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me, You've never failed and You won't start now, So I will call upon Your Name, And keep my eyes above the waves, When oceans rise, My soul will rest in Your embrace, For I am Yours and You are mine, oh, And You are mine, oh, Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders, Let me walk upon the waters, Wherever You would call me, Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander, And my faith will be made stronger, In the presence of my Saviour

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders, Let me walk upon the waters, Wherever You would call me

Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander, And my faith will be made stronger, In the presence of my Saviour

The last thing I would like to end on is a quote that says: Never Be Afraid To Trust An Unknown Future to a known God.

A Heart Of Multitude

Charles Spurgeon says: ''It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.'' There's a sign on t...
