What Does The Bible Say About The Promises Of God

Tonight I want to talk about What Does The Bible Say About The Promises Of God. Let's take a look at some scriptures, so that we can understand more on what we are learning. The scriptures we will be reading tonight are Mark 11 verse 24, Genesis 9 verse 13, Philippians 1 verse 6, 1 Thessalonians 5 verse 24, Psalm 103 verse 12, Proverbs 22 verse 6, Luke 18 verse 27, 1 Timothy 4 verse 8, Micah 7 verse 19, Psalm 34 verse 17, Malachi 4 verse 2, John 15 verses 7-8, Galatians 3 verse 22, Joshua 21 verse 45, 1 Peter 5 verse 7, and Romans 8 verse 28. When we look at the scriptures we see how God shows us His Promises that He Has for us is great and when we think of God's Promises we also think of the plans that God has for us and how God can make us strong in what we do. I want to share a song with all of you and the lyrics of the song say this: My chains are gone, I've been set free, My God, my Savior has ransomed me, And like a flood, His mercy rains, Unending love, Amazing grace, The Lord has promised good to me, His word my hope secures, He will my shield and portion be, As long as life endures. We take a song like Amazing Grace, My Chains are Gone and we see how our God has been good to us, how He has promised good things to  us, and when We trust in His Word we can see how God will help us through any storm and in any trial. God has been showing us throughout any part of our day that we can do all things through Him and when we do all things through Him we can do anything. He loves us. He loves us so much that He reminds us we are His Beloved, we are Loved, we are Cared for. We need to remember that God is in control and God is helping us through and through. No matter what we face in life God's Got This. He has shown us that we don't have to be afraid of what comes next because we can rest in His Arms and on His Promises that He has for us. I want to share another song that say this: I've had good days, I've had bad days, tasted victory in defeat, I've had problems, biggest planets turn to pebbles when You speak I've had nothing to my name, never lacked for anything, 'Cause You were there with me, You've been my Savior, Sustainer when I'm at my end, My Healer, Redeemer, again and again, My Mother and my Father, Brother, Sister, and Friend, Everything I've needed Lord, You've always been, Everything I've needed Lord, You've always been, You are my strength, my rock, Jesus, You are my hope, my song, Jesus. Before my heart knows what to pray, You've already made a way, Jesus, You've been my Savior, Sustainer when I'm at my end, My Healer, Redeemer, again and again, My Mother and my Father, Brother, Sister, and Friend,  Everything I've needed Lord, You've always been. When we take a song like You've Always been we see that God and His Promises will continue in our lives and we don't have to worry and fear because He has always been here. The last two things I would like to share are this.  The first thing I would like to share is a photo that says:
The last thing I would like to share is another song from Unspoken where the lyrics of the song says this:
The dawn is breaking And I can hear Your whisper in the breeze, The world is waking, And I am here to meet You on my knees, When I'm with You, my soul finds rest, 'Cause I can leave it in Your hands, The day keeps coming, Pulling me a different million ways, I'm always running, But never seem to catch the things I chase, When I'm with You, my soul finds rest, 'Cause I can leave it in Your hands, Every sorrow, I leave it in Your hands, Every sickness, I leave it in Your hands, All my failures, I leave them in Your hands, Amen, I leave it in Your hands, So I am laying The weight of all these burdens at Your feet, No more waiting, 'Cause You've already won my victories, In Jesus my soul finds rest, 'Cause I can leave it in Your hands, Every promise, I leave it in Your hands, Every healing, I leave it in Your hands, And my future, I leave it in Your hands, Amen, I can leave it in Your hands, It's Your hands that form the mountains, (In Your hands), Your hands set boundaries for the seas, (In Your hands), And in Your hands You hold tomorrow, The same hands that took the nails for me.
