Easter and Resurrection Bible Study

There's a story that started on Christmas, When a baby was born in the night, And those who came far, who followed the star, Were seeing a heavenly sight, a heavenly sight.

Well the years hurried by, and the boy, now a man, Could make the blind see with a touch of his hand
He was born to be King -- he was Rabbi and Priest, But the best that he had, he gave to the least .
He gave to the least.

He was born and he died, almost 2, 000 years ago, He laughed and he cried, he felt all the fears we know
But what does it matter? A story so strange... Even if it is true, what does it change? What does it change?

Well he spoke like a prophet -- like no one they'd heard, This simple young carpenter -- crowds hung on every word, He hated injustice -- He taught what is right, He said 'I'm the way, and the truth, and the light.'

His friends soon believed that truly he was the one, The Savior, Messiah, God's one and only son.
But others, they doubted, they did not agree, So they took him, they tried him, He died on a tree . He died on a tree.

God has made a way, for all who mourn and grieve, Death will never be the end, if you just believe. There is nothing left to fear, nothing Heaven knows, For he died for us to give us life, and to give us hope He rose
He died for us to give us life, And to give us hope He rose.

1 Peter 1 verse 3, John 11 verse 25-26, 1 Corinthians 15 verse 3-8, Acts 12 verse 4, John 3 verse 16-17, Romans 5 verse 8, Mark 16 verse 6, Romans 10 verse 9, 1 Peter 2 verse 24, Romans 8 verse 11, Zechariah 9 verse 9, Acts 4 verse 33, Romans 1 verse 4, Luke 23 verse 46, John 6 verse 40, Romans 6:4.

From these scriptures, what do we learn? From these scriptures what do we remember? What do we as children of God remember in this time of Easter and Resurrection? Well, we see that God sent His One and Only Son to be born, to do many great things and then later die on the cross to forgive us of our sins, so that we may have everlasting or eternal life. We see how in everything that Jesus went through in these scriptures, to when He gave his final breath and paid the ultimate sacrifice for us, so that we didn't have to that three days later He rose again from the grave. When we think of Easter and how God's Son rose 3 days again from the grave, that all of this isn't always about what we sometimes get on Easter. Which is sometimes candy, and it's not always about finding Easter Eggs, or getting our picture with the Easter Bunny. The true importance of Easter that we all know, is the Easter Story that talks about everything Jesus did to the time that He died on that cross and then would rise again in 3 days. The true meaning of Easter is about Jesus and what He did for us and how He rose again from the grave. What can be some things that we can do to help share the true meaning of Easter with someone who wants to learn more about Him? What can we do to share about the importance of Easter to those who are needing that encouragement to know what Jesus did for them?  Let us reflect on those things for awhile in what we learned and as Easter is coming up, let us remember that moment of what it truly means to celebrate Easter and what Christ did.

The Resurrection Gives My Life Meaning And Direction And Opportunity To Start Over No Matter What My Circumstances.

Jesus Christ opened Heaven's door for us by His death on the Cross.

How deep the Father’s love for us, How vast beyond all measure, That He should give His only Son, To make a wretch His treasure. How great the pain of searing loss – The Father turns His face away, As wounds which mar the Chosen One, Bring many sons to glory. Behold the man upon a cross, My sin upon His shoulders; Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice, Call out among the scoffers. It was my sin that held Him there, Until it was accomplished; His dying breath has brought me life – I know that it is finished. I will not boast in anything, No gifts, no power, no wisdom; But I will boast in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection. Why should I gain from His reward? I cannot give an answer; But this I know with all my heart – His wounds have paid my ransom.

Let all these things be a reminder as we go about our weekend and our week, how God's Son paid our ransom, how he paid our debit, and how He died on that cross to forgive us of our sins, so we didn't have to pay the price. It is my hope and prayer that everyone has a wonderful Easter and Resurrection Day this coming Sunday as well.

Everlasting Love In God's Presence

Faith is a licence to access the presence of God. One day in your presence can't compare with thousand years in worldly pleasures. Whoever desire to be in the Lord's presence, prays. May not a single day be spent outside the light, love, and joy of God's presence. Psalm 16 verse 11 says: You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

"Though our feelings come and go, God's love for us does not." "The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love, he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing." Jeremiah 31 verse 3 says:  The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.

Exodus 33 verse 14, Psalm 27 verse 4, Matthew 28 verse 20, 1 John 4 verse 16, Psalm 103 verse 17, Zephaniah 3 verse 17, John 1 verse 14, 1 John 4 verse 19, Psalm 73 verse 28, Psalm 136:26, Psalm 27:8.

We see in how God’s Presence it is of an Everlasting Love that doesn’t fail because He is Love and how with that Love in which He is we can rely on His presence to get us through in this life to overcome by the blood of the lamb in the testimony of our Faith and how our Faith can grow deeper in the depth of our relationship with Christ who shows us that He is the light of this world and how the light of the world in the life we live can overcome with a beautiful and spiritual kind of everlasting love in which it cannot be broken between the love of the Father and His child in which we are beloved and as beloved children we can own our Belovedness while seeking Him in the everlasting, unchanging and never ending love that we need to feel in His presence and be reminded of how beloved we are in Him.

God's Love Is Like An Ocean; You can see its beginning but not it's end.

We cannot attain the Presence Of God. We're already totally in the Presence of God. What's missing is awareness.

How wild, beyond imagination, How kind, the nature of Your heart, How extravagant, the beauty of Your splendour, We stand in awe of who You are, More than a million words could say, A thousand thank You's, a fountain of praise, With every breath of all of our days, Jesus, You're worthy of all of our praise, Of all of our praise.

You've owned your fear and all your self-loathing, You've owned the voices inside of your head, You've owned the shame and reproach of your failure, It's time to own your belovedness, You've owned your past and how it's defined you, You've owned everything everybody else says, It's time to hear what your Father has spoken, It's time to own your belovedness, He says, "You're mine, I smiled when I made you
I find you beautiful in every way, My love for you is fierce and unending, I'll come to find you, whatever it takes, My beloved", You've owned the mess you see in the mirror, You've owned the lies that you're just not enough, You've been so blinded by all you're comparing, It's time to own your belovedness.

Now I want to share a song because it reminded me of a conversation I had with someone from Soldiers For Faith as I was preparing for this study when they were sharing it with me during that conversation.

How lovely is Your dwelling place, Oh Lord Almighty, My soul longs and even faints for You, For here my heart is satisfied, within Your presence, I sing beneath the shadow of Your wings, Better is one day , in Your courts, Better is one day in Your house, Better is one day in Your courts, Than thousands elsewhere, Better is one day in Your courts, Better is one day in Your house, Better is one day in Your courts, Than thousands elsewhere, One thing I ask, and I would seek, to see Your beauty, To find You in the place Your glory dwells, Better is one day in Your courts, Better is one day in Your house.

So does how all of this tie in together? How does talking about Everlasting Love In God's Presence relate to everything we read and from what I shared tonight? How do we see the Everlasting Love In The Presence Of God? How does one see The Presence Of God in the Love that we seek?
Where can we grow in our walk in sharing the Everlasting Love in His Presence and where can we grow by sharing the Presence in the Everlasting Love in which we receive from Him daily with others?

Let those be reflection questions for you to reflect on and think about as I share a little bit of how it all comes together, to close our time together in what we have learned about tonight.

The way it all comes together is that without the presence of our Savior we wouldn't have love. Why? Well because God is Love and that goes back to one of the scriptures we read that talks about How He first loved us. Then the way we see the Everlasting Love in which God is because His Presence is all around us and with His Presence all around us, one can see it by seeking out the heart of Him in the Love we seek as a reminder that His Love doesn't fail. Where we can grow in our walk, in our Faith by sharing that part of things is by starting with Him to give us the wisdom, the knowledge in which we first need to know how to love ourselves in Christ before we can share the Everlasting Love of who He is and where is Presence lies within in our heart. So then that leaves the remainder of how and where can we grow by sharing His Presence in the Everlasting Love that receive daily from Him with people who may not know God, simple we pray, we listen, we rely on God to give us the heart of wisdom and knowledge to speak what we need to say, but we also rely on our ears to hear what we need to listen to in order to hear what the person who needs a friend, who needs a lending ear to hear their heart out too. So with all of this we can see In His Presence there is an everlasting Love but we can see the Everlasting Love in His Presence and that is something that will never fade away because God remains in Love, He remains in Truth, His Word is Pure, and the three things remain, Faith, Hope, and Love, but the greatest of these is Love. So, lets take what we've learned and apply it in how we can help others.

Love Never Fails

You Stay The Same Through The Ages. Your Love Never Changes. There May Be Pain In The Night But Joy Comes In The Morning, And When The Ocean Rage, I Don't Have To Be Afraid, Because I Know That You Love Me.

God Will Never Stop Loving You

God Will Never Forsake You

God Will Never Fail You

Your Love Never Fails

1 Corinthians 13 verse 4-8, Proverbs 10 verse 12, 1 John 4 verse 16, 1 Peter 4 verse 8, Psalm 86 verse 15, Proverbs 17 verse 17, John 15 verse 13, Zephaniah 3 verse 17, 1 John 3 verse 16-18, Ephesians 4 verse 2, 1 Corinthians 13 verse 2, Galatians 2 verse 20, Deuteronomy 7 verse 9, Lamentations 3 verse 22, 2 Peter 3 verse 9, Romans 13 verse 10, 2 Corinthians 5 verse 7, Romans 5 verse 5, 1 John 4 verse 9-11, Romans 5:8.

When we read these scriptures, we see how God's Love doesn't fail. We see how His Love conquers all.

No matter what we go through, God's Love is unconditional. God's Love is pure and we are knowing how His Love that doesn't fail can come a long way and we know that God is Love and that He is merciful and that He can do anything to show that His Love will continue to keep washing over us.

Nothing can separate, Even if I run away, Your love never fails, I know I still make mistakes, But, You have new mercies for me everyday, Your love never fails, You stay the same through the ages, Your love never changes, There may be pain in the night, But joy comes in the morning And when the oceans rage, I don't have to be afraid, Because I know that You love me, Your love never fails.
Your Love Never Fails, It Never Gives Up, It Never Runs Out On Me.
There's also a song that talks about how God's Love does not fail.
When we think of how Love Never Fails, we can see the Mercies of The Lord are New Every Morning.
There is so much to learn about Love, the Love Of God, and how even when our feet may fail, His Love doesn't and His Love is Eternal and His Love is going to be Forever Strong in our Hearts forever and ever.
When we feel down, we can go to God and no matter what, we can see how God loves us conditionally.
He loves us that way cause He made each one of us special and unique in our way and He loves us daily.
No matter what we do, God will continue to show us that Love that each one of us needs to know that God is in control and that He has all of this in His Hands and we know that He is Sovereign over everything.
We need to remember this week what this verse from Mighty To Save even says which is this: Everyone needs compassion, a love that's never failing, let mercy fall on me, everyone needs forgiveness the kindness of a Savior, the Hope Of Nations. I wanted to end on this because the verse is true His Love does not Fail and because His Love does not Fail, we should always want to be shining that Light for Christ daily.
