I can’t imagine where I would be, If it weren’t for the blood that washed over me , Oh, Jesus over everything, From who I was then to who I am now, The one explanation, the only way how, Is Jesus over everything, Jesus over everything, His cross has covered me, Yes, Jesus over everything, Jesus, Name above all names, Forever I will sing, Yes, Jesus over everything, In every season, in joy and in pain, In blessing and suffering I speak the name, Of Jesus over everything, This is my banner, this is my cry, No matter the outcome, the choice of my life, Is Jesus over everything.

Colossians 1 verse 17: He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
I’ve gone where the hopeless go, The dead end of broken road, And I’ve learned there’s a place so low, You can’t see your way out, Been stuck in a ditch so deep, Thought it might be the end of me, But I’m still here and there could only be, One way how, My life is a God story, Gotta tell the world what He’s done for me, Miracles on miracles, That only He could do, I’m proof that we’re all only, One prayer away from a testimony, There’s only one getting all the glory, My whole life is a God story, From beginning to the end, From who I was to who I am, I can see His fingerprints, On every single page, Now the story I love to tell, Is the story of the one who brought me back from hell, From all is wrong to it is well, And all I can say is, From death to life, from blind to sight, This is my God story, From lost to found, from then to now, I’ll tell you how, God story, Who brought me through from old to new, It’s a true God story, Ain’t hard to see the change in me, Could only be a God story.

Psalm 139 verse 16-17: Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book, before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!
You feel like a candle in a hurricane, Just like a picture with a broken frame, Alone and helpless, like you've lost your fight, But you'll be alright, yeah, you'll be alright, 'Cause when push comes to shove, You taste what you're made of, You might bend till you break, 'Cause it's all you can take, On your knees, you look up, Decide you've had enough, You get mad, you get strong, Wipe your hands, shake it off, Then you stand, oh, then you stand, See, life's like a novel with the end ripped out, The edge of a canyon with only one way down (Canyon, oh, one way down), Take what you're given before it's gone, And start holdin' on, keep holdin' on (Hold on), 'Cause when push comes to shove, You taste what you're made of, You might bend till you break, 'Cause it's all you can take, On your knees, you look up, Decide you've had enough, You get mad, you get strong, Wipe your hands, shake it off, Then you stand, Every time you get up And get back in the race, One more small piece of you, Starts to fall into place, 'Cause when push comes to shove, You taste what you're made of (What you're made of), You might bend till you break, 'Cause it's all you can take (All you can take), On your knees, you look up, Decide you've had enough (You've had enough), You get mad, you get strong, Wipe your hands, shake it off, Then you stand.

Philippians 4 verse 1: Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, dear friends!
Somewhere out there hanging by a thread, All of your strength is gone, Strength to keep holding on And don't buy those lies that are in your head, That say you should just give up, That you'll never be enough, Remember you're a child of the King, Sing, sing like you've already won, Be grateful for all He has done, As long as there’s air in your lungs, sing, You're so much stronger than you think, The Spirit that brought Christ back to life, Is the same one you have inside, So next time there's a wall standing in your way, Sing along with that new song in your soul And watch them fall like Jericho, Sing, sing like you've already won, Be grateful for all He has done, As long as there's air in your lungs, sing, Sing, sing like you finally believe Your name has been changed to redeemed , So with every breath that you breathe, sing, Don't give up, don't give in, Go on and raise your voice , Don't give up, don't give in, Make a joyful noise.

Zephaniah 3 verse 17: The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
Lord, I confess my attention has wondered from You, My heart needs a course correction, Back to what is true, Of a thousand things I’d run to, You’re still the only one who satisfies, So, Jesus every time, I choose You, Nobody loves me the way that You do, I choose You, Over and over, Because You chose me, When I gave you nothing You gave everything, All my life, You’re calling me closer, So, I choose You, Over and over, Hands lifted up as I lay down, For good for what is best, Surrender all at the alter And trust You with the rest , You’re calling me out of my grave, No turning back now I’ve made up my mind, Jesus, every time.

John 15 verse 16: You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
In all of this, I wanted to share what God has laid on my heart because these songs shape us and mold us. These songs can make a difference in our life. We are God's Beloved. In everything we see from the lyrics of each song, and the scriptures that go with it, we see that God is shaping our testimony. He is calling us for such a time as this and showing us that we can be who we are created to be in His Image.
When we think about being made in His Image, we think of how wonderful that is to know that God doesn't give up on His Children, that He keeps shaping us for such a time as this one to do strive well.
In a Matthew West Song called Don't Stop Praying, we see that even in that song, we shouldn't stop praying when life gets bad, we should continually pray and praise God for when the times are great too.
We all go through life in our testimonies where we have bad days but we also go through life with good days and what we do with each day should count.
We may not be here forever because one day, we will be with Jesus and when we really realize that we see how in everything, with prayer and petition, when we make our requests known to Him, we can see that God will shape and mold and answer our prayers in His Timing and reveal to us what needs revealed.
My hope in this particular study is to allow ourselves with these scriptures, this message and the songs to reach us in a way that allows us to not only see the hope inside ourselves this week but to show hope to others, to share our testimony with others, to share God's Story with others and listen to their stories.
My prayer is that this study allows you to not give up in what God is calling you to do for Him daily.
If nothing more, my hope is to know that no matter what God gives me to say in these studies, that wherever and however God gives me the topic, that God works through you as He works through us all and allow Him to show you that in the week ahead that when you feel down, He'll pick you back up.
