How Words Matter

In all of these scriptures we see how in God's Word that our Words, our Actions and mainly our Words have meaning, have a way in showing us that no matter what we can speak in Love, Gentleness, Kindness, and in Truth. We always hear the saying, Sticks and Stones may break our bones but words will never hurt us. The truth in all of that is, words do hurt. In saying this, we know that the truth of the matter is that Words can hurt and sometimes it hurts our hearts because there are things people can say that hurt us and that they wish they could take back. Ever hear of how Actions can Speak Louder than Words? Well, we can take so many things into account where we know that God will help us in time to Forgive those who at times can have hurt us with actions but also their words. We know all these can never be easy but we know that God is going to help us through anything that we face and show us sometimes that we can just walk away from a situation and we can walk humbly, we can walk with Humility, we can walk with peace, grace, God's goodness, grace, and with our Faith we can become stronger and become even stronger in the things that we seek in His Presence to know that while those that hurt us with words may not always understand why a few little words can hurt at times, we can always turn the other cheek and be the person that doesn't allow the actions but the words to define what we do or who we are made to be in Christ.

Faith Tells Me That No Matter What Lies Ahead Of Me, God Is Already There.

No Matter Where We Find Ourselves God Is There.

Just as love is a verb so is faith.

The Word Of God is living and operative.

Where words fail, music speaks.

Even the words of what we hear in music can speak volumes because hearing a song, knowing the stories behind the songs, then hearing the lyrics of the song again can give us a deeper and profound understanding of how the words of a song can matter.

Our Words Matter, Words that are lyrics from a song can Matter, and most importantly God's Word Matters because it is the Living, the Biblical, and Profound Word that can help us in life's trials.

Without God and His Word, what would we have? Without knowing any of how His Word can help us to not be in a place for so long that is what it becomes for us, we can turn that around into goodness.

We have the ability to keep doing what we do for Christ in order to keep living our testimony and our Faith in the Relationship God wants for our lives, so that we can be slow to anger and slow to speak.

They've made me feel like a prisoner, They've made me feel set free, They've made me feel like a criminal, Made me feel like a king, They've lifted my heart To places I'd never been And they've dragged me down, Back to where I began, Words can build you up, Words can break you down

Start a fire in your heart or, Put it out, Let my words be life, Let my words be truth. I don't wanna say a word, Unless it points the world back to you, You can heal the heartache, Speak over the fear, (Speak over the fear), God, your voice is the only thing, We need to hear, (We need to hear).

We see in these last two songs and in everything, that God can help give us a place to shine our light through Him in Humility and In Grace, to become more like Him every day in all that we do for Him.

Place For Us

 In the time of knowing where we are in this world as disciples for Christ, we have those around us often wonder where are we going, where do we go from this place on Earth? We have them wondering and asking is there a Place For Me? Is there a place to where I'm going that is really meant for me? So many times new believers and those who maybe once did ask that question, can God really provide for me? Let's look at some different scriptures that talk about these types of things as these questions are meant to reflect. Psalm 91 verse 1, Psalm 17 verse 8, Luke 11 verse 33, Psalm 57 verse 1, Psalm 36 verse 7, Isaiah 32 verse 2, Luke 12 verse 3, Matthew 6 verse 4, John 14 verse 27, Deuteronomy 29 verse 29, Hebrews 4 verse 12, Psalm 46 verse 10, Psalm 44 verse 21, John 14 verse 3, John 3 verse 16-17, Romans 5 verse 8.

In all of these scriptures we can see where we are going to be one day with Christ and we can see how God has the innermost thoughts tucked in the most secret and hidden places of our hearts.

We may not always know the answers to why we have things happen in our lives, but we know that God prepares a place not only for me but for all of us as His Children. We know that God loves us daily.

A scripture I recommend looking at since we were not able to read it tonight is John 14 verse 1-31.

For me when I see this scripture it's a reminder that we know where we are going to be reunited with our Savior one day and it's a reminder that we should never give up Hope, Faith or give up in believing in what God can do. We should never stop trusting the miracles we see all around us in this life we live.

This week, I didn't really know what I was going to talk about and then I had asked for a prayer in a chat.

Then I heard a song by Jason Gray called Place For Me, and so I looked up different scriptures around that and then this became inspiration for my topic this week that even in the Secret Place we know where we are going to go someday but until then we know there's still much that God has planned for us here on Earth until He calls us Home to be with Him and to spend Eternity where there isn't pain.

I don't have to be perfect to get inside the door, I don't have to be good to be loved, If it's true that my wounds are worth the healer's looking for, Then it's a good thing I've got more than enough, Hallelujah

There's a place for me, In the company of sinners saved by grace, Here among the broken on their knees

The wind is moving but I am standing still, A life of pages waiting to be filled, A heart that's hopeful, a head that's full of dreams, But this becoming is harder than it seems, Feels like I'm Looking for a reason

We see in these last three songs I wanted to end on that while we search sometimes to find our place in this world, there's a place for all of us and God is saving that place for us, so we can spend eternity with Him and so we can live with Him and not have anymore fear, worry, stress, and anxious of the heart.

Understanding

God gives us understanding in how with Him we can do anything as long as we set our minds to it. 

We have the purpose in life to grow stronger in Faith and have this greater understanding that all things are going to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His Purpose.

How deep the Father's love for us, How vast beyond all measure, That He should give His only Son

There's a quiet understanding, When we're gathered in the Spirit, It's a promise that He gives us, When we gather in His name, There's a love we feel in Jesus, There's a manna that He feeds us, It's a promise that He gives us, When we gather in His name, And we know when we're together, Sharing love and understanding, That our brothers and our sisters, Feel the oneness that He brings, Thank You, thank You, thank You, Jesus, For the way You love and feed us, For the many ways You lead us, Thank You, thank You, Lord.

A Biblical Understanding of the Christian Life is not 'Let go and Let God it's Trust God and Get Going.

We Need God as much as in the calm as in the storm.

God is able to do more than man can understand.

In all the scriptures, song lyrics, and quotes we can see how God gives us what we need even before we ask or think it.

We see how God is able to show us a better understanding in what we not only need, but what our hearts and minds need to be at peace and to know that no matter where we are God will give us that peace surpasses all understanding, so that we do not become anxious about anything.

No matter where we are in our Relationship and Faith walk with God, let's try to help people this week try to know the purpose and plan that God has for them, just like God has for all of us as His children.

How can we apply this to help us clearly get the picture of what it truly means to understand what God wants for our lives? Reflect on this for a moment as I share one more thing to really help us this week.

In Unity we stand with Christ, knowing that we have our hearts and minds set in Him to do something Noble with a heart of compassion that express the things that become dutiful and we excel in the things He brings us to as we Respect the commandments in which are set in place and we have a strong Faith and Relationship to trust in what is good for us to know that His Anointing is what we need to remember how we are a new creation in Him and we can dream to one day keep excelling and inspire in this newly and wonderful life we live with Grace, Love, Mercy, and Kindness each and every day.

In The Shadow Of The Valley

 Revelation 7 verse 17, Psalm 27 verse 1, Psalm 23 verse 1-6, Jeremiah 2 verse 6, Job 10 verse 21-22, Isaiah 9 verse 2, Amos 5 verse 8, Matthew 4 verse 16, Psalm 107 verse 14, Luke 1 verse 79, 1 Peter 1:23.

In the Scriptures we see how God shows that even when we walk through in the Shadow Of The Valley or even when we walk through trials, we see that not even the in the Valley Of The Shadow of Death that the enemy can overcome, but we can persevere with the presence of Jesus and know that God will reign forever and show us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper and no weapon formed against us shall stand and we see how we can stand in Faith and how we can stand in Hope to Overcome by our stronghold in Faith and our testimony to succeed in Grace and in the Light of our Savior who is Love.

So we see in all of this that even when we walk through the valley of shadows or in the shadow of the valley, we don't have to be afraid because we know that God is in our midst and we know God is near.

Move your focus off your fears so you can focus on the Father.

Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see a shadow.

Your love reaches deeper than the deepest valley, wider than any expanse keeping me from you.

How in all of this can we take our fears in the shadow of the valley or the valley of shadows and try to take all our fear and anxiety to what God wants from us as His Children who are beloved? How can we take all those fears and anxieties and bring them to God in prayer, so that we can and are able to see the light that overcomes all of this with God's help in knowing that we are never alone in this world?

Reflect on these things as I share the last thing I want to end on with all of you.

Relying on God has to begin all over again every day as if nothing had yet been done.

I wanted to end on this quote because sometimes even in our seasons of our valleys of shadows or in the shadow of the valley, we often sometimes fall down to where we want to give up because we think well, how can we even be helped, but if we change that mindset to where we realize we can be helped and have always had that help from God all along, then we start to realize that it's God we need to rely on, so that He can show us that even in bad, hard, sad, and frustrating moments, that every day is a new day and we should try to begin our day in relying on Him all over again as if nothing bad had yet been done to make us feel worried or afraid with anxiety in our heart and fear in our hearts and minds.
