Seeking God In Our Life

 Matthew 6 verse 33-  But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

1 Chronicles 16 verse 11- Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.

Hebrews 11 verse 6-  And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Proverbs 8 verse 17- I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.

Deuteronomy 4 verse 29- But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Psalm 119 verse 2- Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart.

Lamentations 3 verse 25- The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;

We see in these scriptures that God gives us Hope to know that when we seek Him diligently and fervently that we can know that He won't leave us, we can see that God gives us the abilities to have strength and come to understanding that our Hope lies within Him because He helps us to understand that without Him, we wouldn't be here because He gives us life. 

Matthew 7 verse 7- “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Jeremiah 29 12-14- Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

James 4 verse 8- Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

In these last few scriptures we see how God shows us that when we Pray, when we seek, when we Purify our Hearts, when we call upon His Name and we seek Him with diligence and we seek spiritual guidance from Him in prayer, that we have a understanding of knowledge, love, patience, hope, humility, grace, peace, and the understanding of what it also means to forgive. In everything, we see how God helps us to rely on Him in Humbleness so that we can continue to seek with His help in what His Plan is for our lives, because God knows the plans that He has set in stone for us and without Him, where would we be? What would we be doing?

Seek Him.

Seek Him First.

Seek Him in the good.

Seek Him in the bad.

Seek Him when life happens.

Seek Him in joy.

Seek Him in sadness.

Seek Him in every moment.

Seek God.

Seeking God first will always put us in the correct position and aim us in the right direction to move into the future God has for us.

We seek God and find Him! God is knowable, touchable, hearable, seeable, with the mind, the hands, the ears, and the eyes of the inner man.

''If We seek God for our own good and profit, we are not seeking God.''

God seeks us as eagerly as we seek God.

 Seek ye first the Kingdom of God

We see in all of this, that it is important to seek Him in our life and help others who may be struggling to come back to God, to pray with them, for them, and help them know that God loves them.

We see that in all of it, that no matter what happens that God would leave the 99 to find the one and bring them back to Him because God loves all of us as His Children and He would come back after us to find us.

In everything, we know God is Love and sometimes it takes just a little bit of seeking in our life to know God has a plan and even when we think we know what our plan should be, God reveals something different to us, to show us to Trust Him, have Faith in Him, to Believe in all things through Him that gives us strength because with God all things are Possible and Nothing is Impossible for God. God would do anything to bring us back to Him, and we need to continuously seek Him and Pray to Him and then Trust in Him with what He has planned in our life and have a little Faith, in the size of a Mustard Seed and let God's plan be rooted in our life and planted and let it grow deeper into our hearts, so that we may see His plan grow further into our life, our heart, our soul, and our minds and let us remember all of this as we go about our week, and let us remember who is in control and will continue to help serve Him well within our own heart.

In the beginning, into the darkness, The Spirit's moving upon the waters, You spoke the words, "Let there be Light", Out of the chaos came the promise, The universe rose and applauded, When You commanded the newborn sun to rise, You are the day spring, You are the morning star, Creation's splendor speaks Of who You are, You are salvation, You are the joy of the earth, Restoration comes, Hope of the broken world.

Jeremiah 17 verse 14- Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.

1 John 3 verse 1- See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

James 5 verse 14- Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.

1 John 4 verse 19- We love because he first loved us.

3 John 1 verse 2- Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. 

1 John 4 verse 16- And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.

2 Chronicles 7 verse 14-If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

John 14 verse 21- Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

We see in everything, that with God's Love that the healing begins and starts with Him.

We ask ourselves why would the healing begin and start with Him?

Well, that's what I love about our Savior because He is the Physician that heals us, He makes us better, He mends a broken heart, He heals us from the top of our head to the soles of our feet.

Just like in Kathleen Carnali's song called Coming Back To Life she says in the lyrics: He's Healing Me, He's Healing Me, He's Healing Me from the inside, He's Healing Me, He's Healing Me, I'm Coming Back To Life, I'm Coming Back To Life, so here I am, here I am, here I am, I'm coming back to life, I'm coming back to life.

He's Loving Me, He's Loving Me, from the inside, He's loving me, He's loving me, I'm coming back to life, I'm coming back to life.

In this song we see how God brings us back into our life a life that we live for Him, a life that we live to where we need to remember how God shows us that even in the healing process of knowing when to forgive and when our hearts will be healed and mended or we will be healed from any sickness, that He will always love us and that same love for us is what He shows to all His Children who are Beloved and Known by Him because He is our Heavenly Father.

I love how we can go to Him in prayer and pray for the healing that we need to renew our strength, renew our hearts, and renew our minds.

In this song we see how when we pray for breakthroughs, miracles or anything that we need healing in or our Faith restored in, that God is the God of Possible and with Him all things are Possible and nothing is Impossible for Him because we can do all things through Him that gives us the strength to do so.

Sometimes in our lives we all have pain, We all have sorrow, But if we are wise, We know that there's always tomorrow, Lean on me, when you're not strong And I'll be your friend, I'll help you carry on, For it won't be long, Till I'm gonna need, Somebody to lean on.

In this song, we see how when we have pain, when we have sorrow, we know that God will take the broken pieces and chapters of our testimony and put them back together because if we are wise in the heart, and mind and rely and trust on Him that we know there will always be tomorrow because tomorrow is a new day to rejoice in our Savior and be glad in it because when we lean on each other but more importantly lean on God, especially when we know at times we may not be strong that is when God shows us that He is our friend who will help us carry on because our Savior shows us that even when we feel like what we have waited for in what we feel should be fixed and mended by now, won't be long as we will all need a friend to rely on but more importantly lean on, and leaning on God who is our friend forever is the greatest person to rely and lean on because without Him, where would we be right now?

What would we be doing?

You see in all the message of what I've shared, the scriptures and songs, it ties in together because this is truly where we take the steps of what bothers us in our heart and in our mind, and we give it to God and that is where we see at one step at a time that that is where what we love about Jesus is Him showing us that is where the true healing begins because without Him, we might believe the lies of the enemy, we may be caught up in despair, and feel sadness all the time, but with God, God turns those things around and yeah we love Him because He first loved us and without Him, we wouldn't be here today.

To know God is to Love God and to Love God is to Know Him and in knowing Him, we know that He is always going to heal us and help us through our health journey that we go through, because yes we have a lot of our own health struggles but as we learned in one of the studies I did not that long ago that the things we need to let go that we thought defined us, don't define who we are, but who we are in Christ is what defines us from our heart because we are His Beloved and because of that God will never let us go.

I hope that as we go about our week, that we allow ourselves to have grace but also allow ourselves to not be so hard on ourselves and be able to allow God to do a new work in us to heal whatever needs mended.

Unexpected Things Come From The Heart Of Jesus

 John 16 verse 33:  “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

John 14 verse 6:  Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

2 Corinthians 9 verse 7: Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

John 15 verse 13: Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

2 Peter 3 verse 9: The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Proverbs 3 verse 5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

John 3 verse 16-17: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Matthew 22 verse 37:  Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

In these scriptures we see how each little unexpected thing that we may not know about comes from the heart of Jesus because the plan we expect is the unexpected plan that He has in place for us, the plan that is going to prosper us, not harm us, but give us a hope and a future. We see that Jesus is the way and He is also life and without Him, we wouldn't be here.

We wouldn't be the creation that God made us to be and without that, we wouldn't know the heart of who are Savior is because we as Beloved children of Him have a new heart, a heart that allows us to see some of the unexpected things that come from Him and sometimes He doesn't want us to see the unexpected because it's a work in progress of our testimony being crafted, shaped, and molded into something beautiful for a bigger and better purpose in life to where some of the greatest unexpected things like God moments come from the heart of Him and in knowing that, we know and we understand that it's okay not to rush His Plan.

His Plan is what gives us the hope, the courage, the heart to understand even when we are  not skilled to understand at times, God still gives the understanding that we are supposed to know in time, not our time but His Time because His Timing is what we should rely on in heart, in gratitude, love, peace, and all of the things that make up the heart of those who love Him and are called according to His Purpose because we are called and we are deeply cherished and we are loved because He first loved us. We were made in His Image and so we see how some of things that we don't expect to happen in our life come from the heart of Him.

It is amazing to see how we can take what we think should be the plan or what we have planned is what things from our heart should be, but you know what? It is what comes from the heart of Him that He puts on our hearts to know that the plan He has planned is much greater and we need to trust the Heart of Jesus to carry us through what comes our way in life.

As much as you want to plan your life, it has a way of surprising you with unexpected things that will make you happier than originally planned. That's what you call God's Will.

When We Lose One Blessing, Another Is Often Unexpectedly Given In Its Place.

Such a Beautiful Heart your God has, that while you are asking for a little peace and joy, He bids you to open your mouth wide and He will lift it.

When You Give Jesus your whole heart, your heart will be made whole.

Those Who Leave Everything In God's Hand will eventually see God's Hand in everything.

When We Have Nothing Left But God, We Discover That God Is Enough.

In everything, we see that with God sometimes the most unexpected things that our heart longs for it can be a great way to rely on what God wants because in the Heart of Him, He is what we need and His Plan is greater than what we know and the not knowing our the unexpected things that come from the Heart of Him. Let us take everything that we learned and be able to know how Jesus gives us grace, mercy and love. Let us remember that it's Him in who we trust to have a deeper type of love and understanding in Him.

Know You More In The Message

 I want to know you more that's the main desire upon my heart, I want to know you more, I want to be more like you and no matter how hard I try, I always seem to fall short, I want to know you more that's the main desire upon my heart.

When the answers don't seem to come, when the cancer won't leave your bones, I can't make sense of all this loss, to find the message in the mess, I see the reason you use to find the message in the mess.

So what do I when I'm overwhelmed? I let you take the Helm, Hmm, You are my Beacon, My Hope In The Night, Whoa, You Are My Anchor Fighting The Tide, You Are My Compass Of Life.

John 3 verse 16-17- For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Psalm 139 verse 14- I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

John 14 verse 4- You know the way to the place where I am going.”

2 Timothy 3 verse 16-17- All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

John 4 verse 24:  God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

Ephesians 6 verse 17- Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Psalm 119 verse 105- Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.

God helps us when we see brokenness, He helps us see that we are worth more in how we see ourselves and how sometimes we see ourselves as unworthy but the unworthiness that sometimes we allow ourselves to think we are is not who we are because we are worth it.

God wants to know you and myself more in the message He has for us. He wants us to see us grow spiritually, and love one another just as He first loved us.

God will never leave us nor forsake us. He wants us to see the beauty within ourselves.

We first need to be able to love ourselves first before we can show the same love back to others because if we don't love ourselves first how can we show love and compassion to one another? 

The answer is simple, we couldn't because we need to have that humility and love in ourselves first before we can show humility and love and compassion to others around us.

If we forget to love ourselves, then what are we doing? Well, we are allowing ourselves to stay in a spot of believing the lie of the enemy that we aren't worthy of being loved. It's simply not true because just like God says we are loved in His Image. Sarah Kroger has a song called Belovedness and even that talks about knowing who we are and what doesn't define us.

We know who we are, and just like in the song Forgiveness by Matthew West it talks about us asking God to show us how to love the unlovable, how to reach the unreachable, and to do the impossible which is forgiveness.

Some of you may wonder, well what does this have to do with knowing ourselves more in the message of Christ, well let me tell you. 

Each little part of the things I've mentioned ties in together because of how Christ gives us the strength to carry on in the messaging of knowing ourselves and yourself more.

We establish that Christ is our Living Hope, and how we can accomplish in anything we set our minds to.

Let me share three last things with you, that will tie all of this together.

Jeremiah 29 verse 11- For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, not to harm you, but to give you a hope and a future.

I wanted to share these last things because I felt it was important to end on them as it ties into the message of hearing what might felt like a mess that turned into something more beautiful in knowing ourselves more and knowing who we are in Christ because we are loved.
