Follow the star to a place unexpected, Would you believe, after all we've projected, A child in a manger? Lowly and small, the weakest of all, Unlikeliest hero, wrapped in his mother's shawl, Just a child, Is this who we've waited for? 'Cause how many kings step down from their thrones, How many lords have abandoned their homes? How many greats have become the least for me? And how many gods have poured out their hearts, To romance a world that is torn all apart? How many fathers gave up their sons for me? Bringing our gifts for the newborn Savior, All that we have, whether costly or meek
Because we believe, Gold for his honor, and frankincense for his pleasure, And myrrh for the cross He will suffer, Do you believe? Is this who we've waited for? How many kings step down from their thrones? How many lords have abandoned their homes? How many greats have become the least for me? And how many gods have poured out their hearts To romance a world that is torn all apart? How many fathers gave up their sons for me? Only one did that for me.
The love of God is greater far, than tongue or pen can ever tell; it goes beyond the highest star, and reaches to the lowest hell; the guilty pair, bowed down with care, God gave His Son to win; His erring child He reconciled, and pardoned from his sin.
O love of God, how rich and pure! How measureless and strong! It shall forevermore endure: the saints’ and angels’ song!
I could sing a different kinda song, I could chase more money, Yeah, I could try to be famous, Everybody love me, I could try to muddy up my message, I could water down my words, Till nobody knows what I'm saying, But that ain't gonna work, 'Cause if you know, know, know Jesus, Like I know, know, know Jesus, Then you'll know, know, know the reason why, I'm putting love on the radio, Spreading joy everywhere I go, There's no way to hide my hope, oh, no, This little light of mine, Hey, I'm gonna let it shine, Telling the world who saved my soul, The only way I know, With love on the radio.
How deep the Father’s love for us, How vast beyond all measure, That He should give His only Son, To make a wretch His treasure. How great the pain of searing loss –The Father turns His face away ,As wounds which mar the Chosen One, Bring many sons to glory., Behold the man upon a cross, My sin upon His shoulders; Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice, Call out among the scoffers., It was my sin that held Him there, Until it was accomplished;, His dying breath has brought me life – I know that it is finished., I will not boast in anything,, No gifts, no power, no wisdom;, But I will boast in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection. Why should I gain from His reward? I cannot give an answer; But this I know with all my heart His wounds have paid my ransom.
When the music fades, All is stripped away And I simply come, Longin' just to bring, Something that's of worth, That will bless Your heart, I'll bring You more than a song, For a song in itself, Is not what You have required, You search much deeper within, Through the ways things appear, You're looking into my heart, I'm comin' back to the heart of worship And it's all about You, It's all about You, Jesus, I'm sorry, Lord, for the thing I've made it, When it's all about You, It's all about You, Jesus.
Psalm 51 verse 10: Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Proverbs 3 verse 5-6 says: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
1 Samuel 16 verse 7: But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
Matthew 6 verse 21: For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
When we think of all these things, we see that God's Love is stronger and that He loves us with His Heart.,
Some things that we need to think about is how God loves us so much that He gave His One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
You've owned your fear and all your self-loathing, You've owned the voices inside of your head, You've owned the shame and reproach of your failure, It's time to own your belovedness, You've owned your past and how it's defined you, You've owned everything everybody else says, It's time to hear what your Father has spoken, It's time to own your belovedness, He says, "You're mine, I smiled when I made you, I find you beautiful in every way, My love for you is fierce and unending, I'll come to find you, whatever it takes, My beloved", You've owned the mess you see in the mirror, You've owned the lies that you're just not enough, You've been so blinded by all you're comparing, It's time to own your belovedness, He says, "You're mine, I smiled when I made you, I find you beautiful in every way, My love for you is fierce and unending, I'll come to find you, whatever it takes, My beloved", You are completely loved and fully known, Beloved, believe He died to make your heart His home.
In every circumstance, we see how God's Love is infinite and unending and how His Love Never Fails, it Never Gives Up, and when we remember that, we see how God gives us the strength to keep going with a open mind, and a open heart for always and forever.
I want to encourage you to look up each song that I shared on here, and also look up More Like Fallin In Love, The Heart Of God, and Aaron Applings the Father's Heart, and How He Loves Us, and really take time to reflect in the lyrics being spoken as you hear them and then I also want to encourage you to look up a different scripture that has the words Heart or Love or even both, and reflect in what God has to share with you in the heart of anything you face.
I hope that no matter what, none of us will ever stray away from how much God loves us.
I wanted to share a study like this because I felt that even though Valetines Day is coming up, that the truest of all things is for certain, God's Love Never Fails, and God will always be here.
Take this time to even look up Matthew West's song Take Heart and even read that scripture while listening to the song, and then even write down what God wants you to know as His Beloved Child who He cares for so much that He sent His Son to die on that cross for our sins.
